CHICAGO – (May 14, 2019) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that Melanie Robertson has earned a Distinguished Service Award from Worldwide ERC®, the workforce mobility association. The Worldwide ERC® Service Recognition Awards Program was established in 1989 to honor members who voluntarily share their time, talent and expertise through various contributions to the association.
Robertson earned the award for her individual contributions to the organization, and her dedication to advancing the knowledge and practice of helping organizations develop globally focused talent management programs in the world’s workforce. She leads the global mobility program for RSM US and Canada, which includes placing employees on short- and long-term assignments to and from RSM member firms around the world.
“Melanie leads our global mobility program that allows us to execute our international strategy in a purposeful and effective way,” said Tom Ferreira, Northeast regional managing partner for RSM US LLP. “The program helps our people gain valuable global experience, make key relationships across our international member firms, and provides real opportunities to be a first-choice advisor to middle market leaders globally. This award is a testament to Melanie’s efforts as we continue to advance our strategy to develop first-choice advisors who are sought out by globally active middle market leaders.”
“We are proud of Melanie, her commitment to our global mobility program, and the value the program brings to RSM,” said Katie Lamkin, chief human resources officer with RSM US LLP. “This recognition reinforces the importance of how our global mobility program contributes to the success of our talent and our firm’s ability to deliver the power of being understood to middle market business leaders who are internationally active.”
Since 1964, Worldwide ERC® has been the voice, community and professional membership organization for workforce mobility professionals; growing in relevance, authority and integrity as its reach expands globally and across industries. Volunteer insight and participation play an integral role in the organization’s foundation of knowledge, its quality of networking and benchmarking, and pool of expertise. Worldwide ERC® was honored to congratulate and formally recognize its dedicated members for their contributions to its significant talent management role in the world’s workforce.
“I am honored to be recognized by an organization that represents an industry that I am incredibly passionate about,” said Robertson. “This recognition validates the value that RSM’s global mobility program brings to our firm’s global strategy.”
The award was announced at the Worldwide ERC® Americas Mobility Conference 2019 in Atlanta on May 10, 2019.
