RSM's Kate Seitz Receives 2019 Ascend Inspiring Across Generations High Impact Leader Award

CHICAGO – (August 27, 2019) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that Kate Seitz, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and national leader of RSM’s InspirAsian employee network group (ENG), has been awarded the 2019 Ascend Inspiring Across Generations (IAG) High Impact Leader Award.

The IAG awards are a decade long tradition presented annually at Ascend's national convention. As a lifecycle organization, Ascend recognizes leaders in various stages of their career who are dedicated to promoting Pan-Asian leadership in business and within the community. In addition to exemplary professional achievements, this award aims to acknowledge individual engagement in the Pan-Asian community, as well as volunteerism.

“We are pleased to present Kate Seitz with this year’s IAG High Impact Leader Award,” said Jeff Chin, national founder and president of Ascend.  “Kate joins an exclusive list of impressive leaders who have received this award. We commend Kate for her leadership and significant contributions to the Pan-Asian community.”

“Kate is a true leader in the Pan Asian community,” said Richard Caturano, national leader – diversity and inclusion with RSM US LLP. “As national leader of our InspirAsian employee network group, Kate has demonstrated her passion and commitment to the community, and under her leadership, this group continues to do amazing things – for our firm, for our clients, for the community and for one another. I can’t think of a better recipient for this prestigious award.”

“What an honor to be recognized with Ascend’s IAG award,” said Seitz. “Being involved in the community and helping others improve is a passion of mine. I never dreamed of being recognized in this way for something that I enjoy doing so much.”

The IAG award was presented at the 2019 Ascend National Convention & Career Fair, Ascend’s largest annual event. This year’s theme, “Endless Possibilities,” focused on the endless ways Pan-Asians can learn, innovate, accelerate and lead in business and within their community.
