Sergio de la Fe named chair of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors

RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced today that Sergio de la Fe, Jr., has been named chair of its board of directors, effective September 1. de la Fe succeeds E.J. Nedder who has served as chair since Dec. 1, 2017 and is transitioning off the board after being named the firm’s national tax leader.

de la Fe was selected by a vote of the members of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors to complete the remaining three months of Nedder’s term and to serve a one-year term beginning Dec. 1, 2018.

de la Fe is a CPA with more than 28 years of experience serving a variety of clients, with a specialization in helping middle market companies with complex business issues. He has experience in the areas of financial reporting, accounting processes, financial reporting controls, ERP systems, internal audit, risk, compliance, project management and other advisory services. Sergio has also served as the co-leader and co-founder of our ¡HOLA! employee network group.

de la Fe earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Florida International University. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Internal Auditors.
