RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that Dan Ginsburg recently joined the firm as its national public policy leader.
In this new role for RSM, Ginsburg will be responsible for the firm’s public policy activities with a specific focus on issues of importance to middle market business leaders. He will equip RSM professionals to communicate with clients about policies that may impact their businesses, and he will share perspectives from the middle market with policymakers and other influencers. Ginsburg will also manage relationships with key national organizations in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere where RSM is a member or maintains strategic partnerships.
Since launching our RSM US Middle Market Business Index in 2016, we have provided deep insights into this critical, yet often overlooked, segment of the economy that comprises 40 percent of our nation’s GDP and one-third of its workforce,” said Sara Webber Laczo, principal – corporate communications with RSM US LLP. “We are fortunate to have Dan join our team as public policy leader to amplify our efforts to raise awareness of the issues that impact middle market businesses.”
“I’ve gotten to know RSM during the past several months while consulting on a strategic communications project,” said Ginsburg. “I’ve been impressed by the caliber of its people and the depth of their understanding on the middle market. I’m looking forward to working with others at RSM to help ensure that the middle market is top-of-mind for key decision makers who affect those businesses, as well as helping business leaders understand the impact of new policies on their companies.”
Ginsburg brings a unique blend of skills and experience to RSM, which will enable the firm to accelerate its middle market thought leadership activities. His experience spans government and policy, government relations, public relations and corporate communications, including positions as a Congressional assistant on Capitol Hill, Chief Speechwriter to the Governor of Rhode Island, senior counselor at top PR firms and 10 years in communications leadership roles at a Big Four professional services firm.
Ginsburg holds a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics from the University of Maryland at College Park. He will be based out of RSM’s Stamford, CT office.
