COVID-19 return to the workplace: An RSM update

COMPANY INFORMATION  |

As more states, provinces and local jurisdictions are easing stay-at-home orders, we are preparing to safely return to our offices and client sites.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, RSM has taken a measured approach to ensure the health and safety of our people, clients and communities in alignment with federal, state/provincial and local government, and health agency guidelines. As we return to working in our offices and at client sites, we will proceed cautiously and in a manner that puts health and safety first.

Our offices

We have developed safety protocols, ordered supplies and created phased reopening plans for our RSM offices. We will pilot reopening a small group of low-risk offices that have been selected to test our approach in June. Based on the pilots, relevant government and health organization guidance, and our risk and readiness assessment, we expect to begin opening select offices with limited capacity beginning in July.

In the meantime, our teams remain committed to serving you while working remotely.

Client sites

If you need RSM professionals to work on-site at one of your locations, we will follow specific protocols to ensure the health and safety of our team and yours.

Before visiting any client site, we will ask:

  1. RSM engagement leaders to evaluate the need and risk of visiting the site
  2. Clients to provide written confirmation that specific protocols are in place

While at your site, RSM professionals must adhere to RSM's health and safety protocols, including, but not limited to, self-certifying and monitoring their health, wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer and practicing social distancing, as well as following any additional requirements you might have.

All RSM professionals are familiar with our detailed policies and protocols, and they will be provided with masks, sanitizer and wipes to use in our offices and yours.

Resources for your business

In addition to our RSM teams, we have many resources available in our Coronavirus Resource Center, including insights about government aid programs, liquidity and cost management, returning to work and more.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about our client site policies and protocols, or if we can help you in any way during these unprecedented times.

Be well,

Joe Adams
