Nicole Lechter is an assurance senior manager and a real estate senior analyst based out of RSM Canada’s Toronto office. She provides assurance and advisory services to public and private real estate companies. As a member of RSM’s Industry Eminence Program, Nicole works alongside the firm’s chief economist and her fellow senior analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends affecting middle market businesses.
Nicole is adept at navigating complex accounting and operational matters surrounding acquisitions, valuations and structures for real estate investment trusts (REITs), developers and operators. She provides industry-specific insights to help RSM clients solve complex problems and stay at the forefront of change.
As part of a network of innovation influencers, Nicole runs pilot projects to test new technology being deployed across the practice and then relays the feedback to developers. She is committed to building a digital culture with agile teams and talent.
A second-degree black belt in Shotokan karate, Nicole has found she also loves coaching in the martial arts. And Nicole’s passion for developing talent extends beyond the dojo to include instructing real estate training courses, onboarding new employees and participating in common financial exam preparation courses. She is also actively involved in RSM’s STAR employee network group, which supports the advancement and development of female leaders.
