Karen Galivan has more than 25 years of experience delivering tax consulting services to clients. She has served midsize businesses and closely held corporations in the consumer, industrial and private equity industries. She specializes in providing tax and accounting services to clients, as well as being a mentor to fellow strategists.
Karen was selected as a senior analyst in RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, a top-tier program that positions senior analysts to forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends serving and shaping industries. As a champion for her clients’ success, she offers methodologies to help them navigate federal, state and foreign tax compliance. Well-versed in leading with influence, Karen supports middle market leaders with tax planning, corporate restructuring, fixed asset studies and tax representation.
Karen is a member of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Chicago. She is also the local leader for the women’s employee network group STAR, which develops a culture that sponsors and advances women at all stages of their careers.
