Anne Slattery, a partner with RSM US LLP’s risk consulting practice, also serves as a senior analyst in RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, which positions its members to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends that shape the industries RSM serves. The firm’s senior analysts advise clients on conditions influencing middle market leaders.
Based in Houston, Anne has more than 13 years of consulting experience working with clients primarily concentrated in the upstream oil and gas, manufacturing, petrochemical and life sciences industries. Experienced with both private industry and publicly held companies, Anne has a unique perspective that enables a better understanding of her clients’ objectives.
Anne has served as the project leader on numerous internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) 404 engagements. Her relevant experience includes leading outsourcing and co-sourcing teams and engagements; directing the implementation and maintenance of engagements; performing enterprise risk assessments; developing internal audit plans; executing enterprise risk management programs; and managing system and organization controls (SOC) 1, 2 and 3 examinations.
Prior to joining RSM, Anne served as an internal audit director overseeing and managing a budget, developing key performance indicators to measure performance, and establishing goals for continuous improvement. She developed and executed a full audit program. She also led and managed SOX 404 compliance efforts and co-developed an enterprise risk management program, including developing the ERM framework, facilitating annual framework updates, and serving on the committee providing critical risk oversight to identify, manage and proactively address current risks of the organization.
