Microsoft Dynamics GP reporting for the Affordable Care Act
Everyone is talking about the new reporting requirements required for the Affordable Care Act. Some common reporting requirements are:
- Calculation of full-time employees and full-time equivalents
- Calculation of employee’s eligibility for health care benefits
- Amount paid for health care by employers
- Analysis of the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit
Microsoft will not be preparing standard reports because each company’s lookback periods are different and most of the information that will be required can be obtained from the Dynamics GP Payroll and Human Resources modules using standard fields, user defined fields and the SmartList tool to pull everything together into one report.
