It provides robust fund, promotion, payment and deductions processing, but more importantly, this closed-loop, fully-integrated solution provides comprehensive analysis tools. RSM’s Advanced TPM solution provides complete visibility and control for food manufacturers to handle everything from analysis, funding and planning to execution and claim processing, and completely integrates pricing, order processing and financials throughout the enterprise.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Trade Allowance Management functionality enables fully automated promotion analysis, promotion negotiation, program execution, payment authorization and deductions management processes.
RSM’s Advanced Trade Promotions Management
RSM has extended the base feature set of the Trade Allowance Management module within Dynamics 365 to include the following enhancements:
Indirect Bill Backs
Effectively create and maintain promotions at the distributor level that are linked to end customers within Dynamics 365.
Indirect Bill Back Workbench
Track and manage claimed deductions from distributors that are related to sales to end customers. This solution allows for the importing of data (proof of performance) into a comprehensive workbench where the claims may be reviewed and authorized.
Bill Back Workbench Improvements
RSM’s Advanced Trade Promotions allows for the additional sales order details to be displayed, streamlining the reconciliation process.
Fund Management Enhancements
Provides the user the ability to copy approved funds, create them at the customer hierarchy level and produce a systematic allocation of budget dollars that eliminates manual entry and calculations.
Retroactive Rebate Functionality
Expansion of the Bill back merchandising event allows companies to set promotions as ‘retroactive’ and in turn trigger the system to calculation and generate claims based upon quantity levels achieved during the promotion period.
During the promotion creation process, the user has the ability to review key pricing and margin data for a given customer or item relationship. The system seamlessly transfers data from Demand Forecast which in turn can be feed into MRP. The powerful functionality interfaces seamlessly between modules and allows for the clear visibility of base and lift quantities related to specific promotions.
Additional, automated reports assist with Bill back reconciliation, Deduction management, and visibility to customers and items that are being promoted.
