Based in RSM’s Austin office, Zachary Carroll is an audit partner who has extensive experience serving clients operating in the financial services and consumer products industries with a focus on SEC registrants and capital markets transactions. Zac’s primary disciplines include providing financial statement audits, audits of internal control over financial reporting, and related advisory services to banks, fintech and finance companies, as well as to consumer products companies, franchisors and restaurant operators, including private equity- and venture capital- sponsored companies.

Zac has delivered audit plans, audit and interim review findings, and technical accounting presentations to boards of directors, audit committees and members of management while establishing meaningful and lasting relationships with his clients.
In addition to his client service roles, Zac oversees the Austin audit practice, focusing on client and talent experience, audit quality and other strategic initiatives. Zac also serves as the financial services leader for RSM’s Central region and national audit leader for financial institutions, where he steers strategy, growth, and the client and talent experience.
