Ryan has over 20 years of experience providing audit and business advisory services to a large spectrum of clients. As RSM’s National Director Asset Management, he oversees the technical audit and accounting services for the Firm’s Asset Management practice, including the creation of the firm’s audit tools, training programs, and assisting clients with complex accounting matters.  Also in this role, Ryan oversees similar matters related to the Firm’s Digital Asset and Crypto Currency practice.

Prior to this role Ryan provided diverse accounting and compliance services to public and private clients in the financial services sector including alternative investment funds, banks and specialty finance, and digital assets. Ryan previously obtained a valuation specific credential which allows him to bring a deep understanding of valuation techniques used to value complex assets to the Firm’s clients.

Ryan has served on various internal groups and committees related to the firm’s audit approach for clients in the financial services and financial institutions industries.

Prior to joining RSM, Ryan was a manager at a regional accounting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts.
