Parr Thomson is RSM US LLP’s national tax industry leader in for-profit health care, advising health care organizations and health care-focused sponsors on tax specific topics and preparing business leaders for the ever-changing tax landscape.
Parr deals primarily with private equity portfolio clients drawing on his more than 14 years of tax experience to advise clients in areas such as tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) tax assistance, accounting for income taxes, and tax controversy. He spent nine years in RSM’s New York City office serving private equity portfolio companies in pre- and post-transaction settings and a year on rotation in RSM’s Washington National Tax office in Washington, D.C., focusing on corporate M&A activities.
In addition to health care, Parr’s private equity clients include those in industrial products, technology, logistics, consumer goods, retail and services, as well as publicly traded companies in the apparel, technology, consumer products and biotechnology industries.
