Michael is the technology leader for the national family office enterprise, as well as a partner in RSM US LLP’s tax services practice. He also co-leads FamilySight®, RSM’s proprietary, cloud-based technology platform built specifically to centralize and manage data for family offices.

Michael brings strong technical acumen and a collaborative, high-touch approach to each client relationship. When asked to recount a professional highlight, Michael references his experience with a multigenerational family from the early stages of their family office through a major liquidation event where he worked to structure and secure the family wealth for generations to come.

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in matters related to planning for family wealth preservation planning, wealth transfers, charitable transfers, tax compliance, trust, and estate planning, and consulting for multigenerational families. He works extensively with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, executives, nonprofit organizations, and closely held businesses.

Michael advises multigenerational families through liquidity events and helps structure family offices to achieve long-term sustainability efficiently and effectively. He is regularly involved with the various tax circumstances unique to affluent families and their personal and professional endeavors.
