Kevin Foral has over 20 years of experience providing clients with federal and state and local tax services, including federal and state and local tax credits and incentives, sales and use tax, income/franchise tax, property tax, and cost segregation. He spends much of his time in the federal and state and local tax credits and incentives arena as a leader in RSM’s energy and excise tax credit practice. He was formerly the firm’s Central region leader of state and local credits and incentives.
Kevin regularly advises clients on clean energy incentives, including those in the Inflation Reduction Act. Kevin’s area of focus includes various state statutory tax credit programs, and he also has extensive experience assisting clients with discretionary and negotiated incentives. In addition, he assists private equity groups in securing federal and state tax credits and incentives during mergers and acquisitions, and he assists their portfolio companies in ongoing maintenance and compliance of credits and incentives.
Prior to joining RSM, he worked for a Big Four firm. While there, Kevin gained experience in the federal income tax, audit and advisory fields. His principal duties included business and individual federal and state income tax compliance, as well as federal income tax consulting.
Kevin supports his community as a board member of the Catholic Charities Foundation and Manchester Park Homeowners Association. He is also a member of the Nebraska Diplomats and The 15th Club.
