Joyce is currently the office managing partner for the Atlanta office and focuses on audit engagements primarily for clients in the manufacturing, retail and consumer products industries. Joyce was elected to the RSM Board of Directors for a four-year term beginning in 2018. Joyce participated on the finance, M&A, and partner matters committees and chaired the strategy and innovation committee of the board.
Joyce has over 30 years of public accounting experience with RSM and Big Four firms serving public, private equity-owned and privately held companies. She brings extensive experience serving manufacturers, grocery chains, food distribution companies, retailers, restaurants and other companies in the consumer products industry.
From 2013–2016, Joyce was the CFO of a multibillion dollar privately held grocery chain in the Southeast, which provided her experience with developing a long-term financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, selecting and implementing an ERP system along with experience with acquisitions, real estate, incentive plans, benefits and benefit plans, investments, treasury and capital planning.
Joyce provides clients advice and guidance on business strategy, corporate governance, acquisitions, recapitalizations, risk management and various other business matters. Joyce’s broad range of experience allows her to provide a unique perspective and sound business advice.
Her passion for people and developing talent provides a great foundation for her role as managing partner in the firm’s growing Atlanta office and her journey through several of RSM’s offices reflects her love of change. Her role as office leader has challenged her to keep learning and building new skills. Her professional growth in the business of public accounting has never stopped—and that’s just how she prefers it.
