Joy provides information technology data, reporting, analytics governance, strategy and business intelligence leadership to enterprise organizations across multiple industries, including nonprofit, financial services, mortgage, banking, retail, manufacturing and industrial products. With more than 22 years of consulting and industry experience, she specializes in data warehousing, data modeling and architecture, data-driven analytics, reporting, data profiling, master data management, data and reporting analytics governance and back-office automation and process optimization.
In her current role, Joy advises clients on business intelligence, enterprise data strategies and data governance, while also supporting and overseeing engagement teams to help ensure project outcomes align with client expectations. She serves as RSM’s national business intelligence practice lead for data and reporting governance and strategy, as well as the national nonprofit and financial services data analytics leader within Data and Digital Services. Her notable large-scale projects include establishing and managing enterprise-wide data warehouses and analytics governance programs for a multimillion-dollar nonprofit member organization, a multibillion-dollar retail food distributor and a multibillion-dollar financial services institution.
Before joining RSM, Joy served as a senior data and analytics manager in industry, focusing on database optimization, data analytics and reporting, gap analysis, process improvement and system integration. In a prior vice president role, she led data management for domestic and international mortgage center operations, guided a business intelligence tool implementation, supported the selection and implementation of a Structured Query Language data warehouse, customer relationship management system and loan origination system, and managed more than 100 reports across mortgage operations, finance, risk and audit, quality assurance and global reporting. She also has more than five years of manufacturing customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning experience, with a focus on large-scale enterprise data warehouse implementations, Structured Query Language Server administration, data profiling, master data management, reporting and analytics governance, strategy, controls, data and process optimization, and data mining.
