Jonathan Wiggins is RSM’s deputy chief accountant and a partner in the firm’s national professional standards group. He advises on complex accounting matters, including revenue, consolidation and business combinations. In his role, he also develops accounting guidance, tools, training and thought leadership.
Previously, Jonathan was deputy chief accountant at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he led Office of the Chief Accountant activities, supported FASB oversight and rulemaking, consulted on accounting standards, chaired IOSCO’s accounting subcommittee, reviewed SEC filings, and audited clients across multiple industries.
