Jon Waterman has extensive experience in the financial services industry. He is the national asset management practice leader and the assurance leader for the financial services industry at RSM US LLP. With highly specialized experience dealing with business development companies, investment partnerships, private equity funds, regulated investment companies and registered investment advisors, Jon is adept at navigating opportunities and challenges in ever-changing landscapes.

Jon serves as an assurance, engagement quality review and SEC partner within the firm’s financial services and SEC practices. Throughout his career, he has been involved with both public and secondary offerings, securities counsel, and underwriters, and has been a frequent speaker at industry events. As a thought leader in the financial sector, Jon often speaks on current events and trending topics within the financial industry.

Jon is also a member of the STAR and Family First employee network groups. He is involved in large national fundraisers and charities and is a board member for the RSM US Foundation.
