Hussain came to the United States from Pakistan 35 years ago to attend Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. When he completed his education and began working, he recognized the opportunities afforded to him to achieve the American dream, which he ardently pursued. In a recent return to Illinois Wesleyan, he walked through the doors of the student center where he began his college journey as an immigrant student from 7,000 miles away, this time as a proud member of the university's board of trustees.
