John George serves as the firm’s national public sector assurance service line leader. He has significant experience with units of local government and nonprofit organizations and spends all of his time serving clients and overseeing firm personnel in the public sector.
John has been involved in governmental auditing and consulting with RSM since 1990. His client responsibilities have included numerous school districts, municipalities, counties, colleges and special districts, as well as nonprofit organizations. Through his experience, John has gained extensive knowledge of various federally assisted programs and compliance auditing in accordance with Uniform Guidance.
John has assisted clients and other organizations in the following areas: internal control systems evaluations and reviews, strategic planning issues, budgeting, cash management and cash forecasting, personnel searches for accounting, and financial personnel.
