Brenda was named a market leader in May 2023 and has been with the firm for 25 years. She is a partner who leads the execution of the firm’s market growth strategies for the Pacific Northwest, which includes Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. She also is a board member of RSM’s Environmental Advisory Board, which oversees the firm’s sustainability programs and metrics.
For more than 26 years, Brenda has provided tax consulting and compliance services to a variety of private and corporate middle-market clients, including individual and business tax planning and corporate and partnership taxation. She manages a portfolio of private equity-backed businesses as well as family-owned businesses. As a member of the consumer products team, Brenda focuses on food and beverage, manufacturing and distribution, and other aligned clients as well as business and professional service clients.
Before being named market leader, Brenda served as the tax leader for Seattle and the Bay.
Brenda is a passionate supporter of educational opportunities having served as a board member and finance committee chair of Communities in Schools of Washington and as a school commission and finance committee member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Seattle. She is also a member of the Association of Washington Businesses, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Seattle Association, and the Washington Society for Certified Public Accountants.
