Bill has over 23 years of experience working with publicly traded and private international businesses to implement and apply IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting guidance.
Bill Norris and RSM’s global accounting consulting services (GACS) team assist clients with US GAAP and local GAAP to IFRS conversions, audit readiness, international capital markets readiness, new standards implementations, managed service solutions and staff augmentation. Bill and his team also provide comprehensive solutions to global family office clients, including accounting transition, systems implementations, wealth statements and real-time interactive wealth management applications.
Bill and the GACS team assist clients with a variety of complex technical topics, including first-time adoption of IFRS and US GAAP standards, group reporting, business combinations, revenue recognition, leases, complex financial instruments, foreign currency matters and share-based compensation. Bill has extensive experience working in a variety of industries, including higher education, health care, technology, communications, entertainment, construction, energy, consumer markets and industrial products.
