Amy Baker is an industry senior analyst in RSM US LLP’s audit practice, where she specializes in companies within the commercial real estate sector, with an emphasis on senior living clients. In 2026, Amy was selected for RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, which positions its analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries the firm serves.
Amy has over 15 years of audit and accounting experience, all with RSM. Her real estate experience includes joint ventures, portfolio companies, developers and real estate management, spanning commercial, residential and senior living sectors.
Amy’s experience includes GAAP basis audits, fair value audits, income tax basis audits and reviews, and consolidations. She has participated in the manager rotation program for RSM’s assurance standards and methodology group, where she developed training materials and contributed to the creation of numerous national firm training standards.
As an audit senior manager, Amy supports clients through financial statement audit and attestation services, accounting for mergers and acquisitions, planning and managing audit engagements, and technical accounting research. Her work with senior living clients includes navigating complex ownership structures, regulatory compliance and specialized reporting requirements.
Additionally, Amy served as the culture, diversity and inclusion champion for the RSM Baltimore office and the inclusion, diversity, equity and advocacy board of directors for CREWBaltimore.
