About Alex

RSM US LLP’s Alex Isele is a technology consultant and fractional chief information officer (CIO) with deep experience in IT strategy, enterprise software selection and digital transformation. As a manager in RSM’s technology advisory practice, Alex helps nonprofits, trade associations and foundations modernize their technology environments to improve financial management, operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. He partners closely with chief financial officers, CIOs and finance leaders to ensure technology investments align with strategic goals and are built to scale.

Alex Isele is passionate about empowering mission-driven organizations with the clarity and tools they need to operate more effectively. He is motivated by the opportunity to guide RSM clients through complex technology decisions and deliver lasting results. Known for his collaborative style and ability to bridge technical and operational teams, Alex brings a pragmatic, business-first approach to every engagement.

He has led dozens of successful projects across enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial system evaluations, enterprise application integration and IT operating model design. His work often includes post-merger transitions, technology roadmaps and change readiness planning. With experience spanning early-stage and mature organizations, Alex balances innovation with risk management and strong internal controls.

As part of RSM’s CIO advisory services management consulting team, Alex focuses on ERP system selection and transformation readiness for nonprofits and mission-driven clients. He contributes to thought leadership initiatives focused on cloud adoption, automation and data-driven decision making, helping organizations strengthen stakeholder engagement and drive greater mission impact.
