CHICAGO – (June 30, 2026) – RSM US LLP ("RSM") – the leading provider of consulting, tax and assurance services for the middle market – today announced the formation of dedicated corporate development function to accelerate strategic growth across the enterprise. This new function reflects RSM’s scale and ambition as it enters its second century.
RSM has appointed Don Lipari, who brings 30 years of experience in various RSM leadership roles, to lead this new effort. He and his team will evaluate and execute acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and new market entry opportunities. They will also support the firm’s continued investments in other strategic areas, such as technology, that create enhanced value for its clients, people and owners.

About Don Lipari
Don Lipari leads and will continue to oversee RSM’s overall channel strategy, which spans private equity, private companies, public companies, family office and government contracting. As part of this transition, Kevin Kopanon will succeed him as leader of the private equity practice.
Earlier in his career, Lipari served as RSM's enterprise industry leader, overseeing industry strategy across nine priority sectors in the U.S. and Canada, and as the New York market leader.
Lipari’s deal sourcing and integration experience, as well as his broad experience across all RSM’s channels and industries, uniquely positions him to lead the firm’s corporate development strategy. He was key to bringing together RSM US and RSM UK to form the transatlantic partnership, creating a combined platform of 23,000 professionals and $5 billion in annual revenue and in reaching agreements to bring RSM Mexico onto the platform.
Lipari is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Science from New York University and completed the Advanced Business Advisor Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
