RSM Announces Leadership Appointments Across Assurance and Key Industries

Appointments support RSM's continued focus on industry expertise and client service 

CHICAGO – (August 24, 2026) – RSM US LLP ("RSM") — the leading provider of consulting, tax and assurance for the middle market – today announced leadership appointments across its assurance practice and key industry sectors. The appointments deepen RSM's industry expertise and leadership, reinforcing a longstanding commitment to helping clients navigate change, manage risk and pursue growth.

Middle market companies are absorbing economic uncertainty, rapid technology adoption and shifting regulatory expectations all at once. RSM's new leaders will drive the delivery of deep knowledge and practical solutions to the businesses it serves.

The appointments include:

Assurance

Zac Carroll has been named the financial markets service line leader for assurance. In his new role, Zac will advance the financial markets practice by focusing on quality, sustainable growth, client experience and accelerating the use of AI and digital capabilities. His collaborative leadership style, strategic mindset and operational focus will help position the practice to deliver greater value in the market and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Financial Services

Anthony DeCandido has been appointed asset management sector leader. He joins the financial services leadership team to help shape the sector's next phase of growth, overseeing delivery across assurance, tax and consulting. DeCandido brings deep experience serving private equity, hedge fund and other investment management clients in both delivery and relationship leadership roles across a wide range of organizations and fund structures. With 20 years in public accounting at RSM, he is trusted by many of the firm's premier clients, whose portfolios collectively manage roughly $100 billion in combined assets. A certified public accountant in New York and Connecticut, he has served as a fellow in RSM's Industry Eminence Program with a focus on financial services since 2018 and is a subject matter expert in sustainability who supported the development of the firm's sustainability service solutions practice.

Fabricio Naranjo has been appointed insurance sector leader. In this role, Naranjo will help guide the firm's insurance sector strategy, supporting clients as they navigate regulatory changes, modernization initiatives and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence while helping drive the sector's continued growth and evolution. Based in Toronto, he has spent the past nine years serving as a trusted advisor to middle market insurance clients, helping strengthen RSM's actuarial capabilities and build deep relationships across the industry. Naranjo also serves as national actuarial services leader for RSM Canada LLP and RSM US LLP, leading teams that deliver actuarial, risk management and insurance solutions to help organizations address complex business challenges. He has more than two decades of actuarial and insurance industry experience.

Dominic Henriques has been appointed co-leader of RSM’s newly unified banking and capital markets sector, where he will help bring together banking and capital markets capabilities to strengthen client service, expand market opportunities and support growth across the financial services ecosystem. He continues to serve as RSM's capability leader for financial services risk consulting and national banking sector growth leader. He has played a pivotal role in expanding RSM's banking practice, building trusted relationships with financial institutions and delivering innovative risk and advisory solutions. With more than 25 years of experience advising banks, capital markets firms and insurers, Henriques brings deep expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, governance and operational transformation. His extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience position him to help clients navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and business environment while driving the continued growth and integration of RSM’s banking and capital markets sector.

Matt Gill has been appointed co-leader of the banking and capital markets sector. In this role, Gill will help lead RSM’s combined sector strategy, bringing together banking and capital markets capabilities to deliver a more integrated approach for clients across the financial services ecosystem. Over the past several years, he has helped shape the strategy and growth of RSM's capital markets sector while developing strong relationships across the industry. Gill's experience in technology risk consulting provides valuable insight into the risk, regulatory and operational challenges facing financial services organizations. His industry knowledge, leadership experience and client-focused approach will help advance the continued growth and evolution of the banking and capital markets sector.

Nonprofit and Education

Michele DiVito has been appointed national education sector leader. In this role, DiVito will help guide RSM's strategy for serving education clients, supporting institutions as they navigate evolving regulatory requirements, financial pressures and operational transformation. She brings more than 25 years of experience advising organizations across the education, foundation and international nongovernmental organization sectors, with expertise spanning financial consulting, strategic planning and compliance advisory. A recognized industry speaker, DiVito has presented on revenue recognition, nonprofit financial reporting, endowment fund management, fair value measurements and internal control best practices. Her deep sector knowledge, advisory experience and longstanding commitment to education position her to help drive continued growth and innovation across the practice.
