RSM’s Jason Alexander Elected to the National Association of Manufacturers’ Board of Directors

CHICAGO – (March 14, 2024) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services for the middle market – is pleased to share that Jason Alexander, the firm’s enterprise industrials leader, was recently elected to the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) Board of Directors.

Founded in 1895, the NAM, guided by its Board of Directors, is the largest industrial trade association in the United States. The NAM is the nation’s most influential manufacturing advocate, and its membership includes some of the world’s most iconic brands and many of the small manufacturers that power the U.S. economy. Approximately 90% of the NAM’s members are small and medium-sized businesses. Executives on the NAM Board, which comprises leaders representing companies of all sizes in every industrial sector, are the driving force behind the NAM’s efforts.

“It’s an honor to be elected to the NAM Board of Directors and have the opportunity to work closely with other manufacturing leaders,” said Alexander. “I’ve always been passionate about helping our clients navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead and see this as an opportunity to expand on this even further.”

Alexander is responsible for setting and executing RSM’s industrials strategy. He serves clients in the manufacturing, automotive and chemicals sectors, and has spent the past 20 years advising clients in the areas of risk management, mergers and acquisitions, process design and improvement and information technology system implementation. During his tenure with RSM, he has played a significant role in defining the firm’s stance on going to market with an industry mindset.

“Jason is committed to the success of our industry, and the NAM will be stronger thanks to his service on our Board of Directors,” said NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons. “Jason will collaborate with the NAM to advance a competitiveness agenda that amplifies manufacturers’ efforts to create well-paying jobs, grow our economy and improve the quality of life.”

The NAM and its members are at the forefront of every important policy debate, focusing on solutions to help the industry compete in the global economy and to help the country address challenges ranging from supply disruptions and inflation to the workforce crisis, immigration, permitting, tax policy and energy security.
