RSM Announces Winners of the 2021 Innovation Challenge

CHICAGO – (August 24, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced the winners of its Innovation Challenge, a competition centered on bringing together teams of RSM professionals to develop innovative solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.

In May, nearly 100 teams made up of 340 participants from across the U.S., Canada and El Salvador submitted creative solutions on a variety of topics. Ideas ranged from automating business processes that provide cost savings and time for clients to creating new technology tools and internal programs.

In what was the firm’s largest Innovation Challenge to date, more than 60 teams submitted prototypes of their innovative concepts using RSM’s Innovation Hub – an interactive platform for managing employee ideation activities. A panel of judges reviewed the prototypes and selected the top three teams. All RSM professionals were encouraged to vote for their favorite innovation among the top three finalists and crown a winner.

The Innovation Challenge winners were announced during a live, virtual announcement. The winning idea will be implemented across the firm. This year’s winners are:

Supply Chain Trusted Network: A solution set to support RSM’s clients in establishing a trusted, compliant and transparent supply chain network.
