Founded in San Antonio, Texas, Altex has steadily grown to eight store locations in Texas, as well as a national and international mail order department and a large internet presence with extensive product listings and resources. In addition, Altex maintains a 25,000 square foot distribution center, with over 12,000 computer and network technology projects, ready to ship for internet, telephone, fax and email orders anywhere in the United States and multiple places globally.

The Solution

Altex came to RSM following an unsatisfactory experience with another NetSuite seller, and sought a platform that could simplify back-end wholesale purchasing, shipping and accounting. The company also required a complex website with reporting across several channels, and a comprehensive point-of-sale (POS) solution with engaging physical and digital shopping experiences in a streamlined, cloud-based platform. RSM’s experienced team successfully leveraged NetSuite’s functionality to develop a comprehensive, scalable omnichannel platform that aligns with Altex’s current and future needs. The solution includes a multilocation retail system, creating a single point of management for items, e-commerce and accounting. Furthermore, RSM integrated NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce Advanced for engaging web stores, Advanced Inventory Management for inventory and shipping flexibility, and SuiteCommerce InStore for unified payment processing. Ultimately, RSM provided Altex with NetSuite e-commerce, ERP and POS solutions to eliminate past pain points, unite key business processes and increase efficiency.
