Eligible participants can download their CPE certificate inside the event console immediately following the live webcast. If the event closes before you download your certificate, you can return to the console at any time to access the certificate. You may use the link in your calendar hold or in the post-event email (typically sent within three business days of the live event).
If you attended an event that offered CPE credits, please review these FAQs prior to submitting a question. Not all RSM webcasts offer continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
CPE credit may be offered for live webcasts and occasionally for on-demand programs. Recorded (post-live) events and webcast snapshots are not eligible.
RSM also hosts marketing webcasts that do not include CPE. Review the individual event promotion page to confirm eligibility.
To be eligible for CPE credit, you must meet the minimum program viewing duration and submit the minimum poll responses for the event type.

These are the most common reasons individuals are ineligible for CPE despite attending and participating in a CPE webcast:
- Selecting a poll response but not hitting submit. The system will not count your response until you submit.
- Responding to a poll question via chat or Q&A. You must use the poll.
- Logging in early and closing the event before the minimum content programming. The countdown clock does not count toward total program minutes.
- Logging in late or experiencing technical difficulties and missing the minimum content programming. The post-event survey does not count as content programming.
- Watching on a cookie-blocking browser. You must have cookies enabled to earn and download your certificate.
- Watching with a group or listening to the audio only. Each participant must log in to the platform and respond to polling questions electronically in order to prove eligibility.
Please consider the time it may take you to log in to the webcast. Time prior to the start of the webcast (i.e., while the countdown clock is running) or after the end of the webcast (e.g., while completing the feedback form) does not qualify as program viewing.

As a member of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, RSM must adhere to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) guidelines. We use online participation time and poll responses to prove that each participant has actively met eligibility requirements.
We are unable to override system data or grant CPE credit when technical or logistical difficulties affected eligibility. If you missed the requirements for an event, please check the events calendar for upcoming CPE programming that can serve your needs.
Polls must be responded to using the polling window on the console. Responses submitted using the Q&A functionality or via email do not qualify.
If you encounter technical difficulties during a live webcast, please contact the production team through the webcast Q&A console for assistance.
To receive credit, each individual will be required to log in to the live webcast and meet the eligibility requirements listed above. Group CPE credit is not given.
To be eligible for CPE credit when listening to a webcast via conference call, you must be logged in to the live webcast online. This allows you to view slides and respond to poll questions online. You must still meet the minimum online participation time, poll and feedback requirements listed above. Due to NASBA participation requirements, we are unable to issue CPE for those who are only listening via conference call.
Most RSM events are only CPE-eligible when viewed live. We offer the recordings for those unable to attend live, and for viewer reference—these are not eligible for CPE credit.
We occasionally offer special on-demand CPE programs for anytime eligibility. These are clearly marked and promoted as such.
Our webcast technology includes a certification center. As you meet the minimum requirements for program minutes and polling responses, the certification lights turn green. When both requirements are met the “download certificate” button will activate and you may download your certificate.
If you do not download your certificate before the event closes, you can return to the console at any time to do so. You will receive a follow-up email within a few days of the event. This email has the event console link to access the certificate.

RSM employees must meet the same CPE requirements through the platform. If met, you will see CPE credit applied to your transcript within 60 days. No action is needed on your part.
