Regulatory update: Insurance investment risk analysis

Join RSM US LLP insurance industry professionals for this informative presentation on regulatory changes on the horizon that could impact insurance company risk analysis and investment decisions. While there are many items currently on the NAIC’s agenda, this webcast will address two specific areas:

  1. Updating risk-based capital (RBC) factors for investments. What is being considered and how might proposed changes affect your company? We could potentially see some changes to RBC risk factors next year.
  2. Comprehensive fund proposal changes being discussed could significantly impact a company’s analysis of risk. While discussions on this topic have been dormant for a while, we have seen renewed interest by the NAIC in recent months. Changes could affect all insurance sectors, though certainly life insurers would experience the most impact. We hope to offer a better understanding of what is being discussed so that you can evaluate potential impact on your company and investments.

Presenters for this event include Jim Greisch, RSM’s national insurance industry practice leader, and Edward Toy, investment specialist, Risk & Regulatory Consulting LLC.
