Looking forward: Automotive industry insights and outlook
RECORDED WEBCAST |
After six consecutive years of sales growth—and anticipation of at least three more years of revenue increases—automotive suppliers for both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket have reasons to be optimistic. Yet there may be some reasons for concern that are worth watching as well, including the potential for interest rate increases, weakening economies and labor concerns.
RSM conducted our annual Manufacturing Monitor Survey earlier this year with a special segment geared toward auto suppliers. In this webcast, RSM’s Detroit office managing partner, Larry Keyler, shares the perspectives of C-level decision-makers reported from over 450 automotive and aftermarket suppliers around the world. As he shares this unique insight into the automotive industry, he focuses on five key topics of importance to suppliers:
- Growth strategies
- Global sales, sourcing and production
- Information technology and data security
- Margin management
- Risk mitigation
Charles Chesbrough, the Executive Director, Strategy, Research and Senior Economist from the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, joins RSM for this webcast to provide an economic and industry outlook for the coming months.
