Lori Kalic is partner and a health care senior analyst at RSM US LLP, with more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry. As a trusted advisor, Lori provides clients with tactical solutions to their business challenges. She has significant experience leading teams, implementing strategy and contributing meaningful impact in the health care space and with nonprofit organizations. Lori has been instrumental in the growth of RSM’s health care and nonprofit practice, and currently serves as the Great Lakes region health care industry leader.  

In May 2020, Lori was selected for RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, which positions the firm’s senior analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries RSM serves. These senior analysts advise clients on conditions influencing middle market leaders. Lori’s focus is on the health care industry.  

Lori is knowledgeable in industry audit guides promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as other federal audit guides. She has led audits of hospitals and health systems including academic medical centers, acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, senior living and long-term care facilities, as well as community hospitals and behavioral health care organizations. She has a thorough understanding of Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance compliance requirements. 

Lori’s commitment to the government and nonprofit sector is evident by her active involvement in the community. She advises nonprofit organizations on various matters such as compliance, fiscal operations, cash flow forecasting and budgeting, financing issues, internal controls, and board governance issues. Lori is a past recipient of the YWCA Woman of Professional Excellence and is also a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2020. She served as the Great Lakes regional leader of STAR, an RSM employee network group that promotes the stewardship, teamwork, advancement and retention of the firm’s female employees.
