During the day on the golf course, golf attire is suggested. For men long pants or dress shorts with a collared or mock-neck shirt is recommended. Women should wear a dress, long pants, capris or dress shorts along with a collared, sleeveless or mock-neck shirt. Comfortable shoes on the golf course are also suggested.

Both mornings and evenings will likely be chilly. The average high in the Sea Island area in November is 69° F and the average low is 57° F.

Book air travel

There are three airports that serve the Sea Island area: Jacksonville International Airport, Savannah International Airport and Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (serviced by Delta or private aircraft only).

Savannah International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport are equidistant from Sea Island. The average travel time by car is approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Brunswick Golden Isles Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car.

Air travel will be compliments of RSM provided you book through Travel Leaders. Nonrefundable airfare will be booked and should you need to make any changes to your itinerary, you will be asked to provide a credit card to cover any change fees or fare differences.

In order to book your air travel, please utilize The RSM Classic Travel Request form or call +1 800 701 5195 to speak to a group agent. If you choose to call, please reference that you will be attending The RSM Classic. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday.

Please allow 48 hours for your tentative itinerary to be emailed for your confirmation. Email your itinerary back within 24 hours with your approval as airfares and availability are not guaranteed until the ticket is purchased.

To help manage the overall cost of airfare, all air travel reservations must be booked by Friday, Oct. 20.

Ground transportation

Airport transfers will be provided by Carey Transportation and can be scheduled for you based on your air travel itinerary. Specific details regarding where to meet the driver and other pertinent information will be forwarded to you with your hotel confirmation prior to your arrival.

Should you choose to rent a car, those charges will be your responsibility. You will need to book your rental independently.

If you will be driving to Sea Island in your own vehicle and will not require ground transportation, please let Bailey Kosiek know at bailey.kosiek@rsmus.com or at +1 612 455 9448.

During the week of The RSM Classic, several areas on the Sea Island Resort property will require parking passes in order to gain access. Parking passes will be required if you are staying at The Lodge at Sea Island only. Those parking passes will be provided to you upon check-in at the resort.

If you stay at The Cloister, you will not require a parking pass; however, due to the restrictions in parking around The Lodge, you will need to utilize the complimentary shuttle that will run between The Cloister and The Lodge when coming to the golf course daily for the tournament. You will not be permitted to park your vehicle near The Lodge.
