Shereen joined RSM US LLP’s Cultural Diversity and Inclusion team as the National Multicultural Employee Network Group Leader in May 2020. In this role, she and her team are responsible for implementing and evolving the Multicultural employee network group (ENG) strategy.
As national leader, Shereen has launched the Multicultural ENG’s Conversation Language Program, shared a Mindful Monday message about mindfulness techniques from around the world, spotlighted a story on the importance of multiculturalist and mentoring, and partnered with the Interfaith ENG to promote Jewish Heritage Month.
From 2016 until she assumed the national leader position, Shereen served as RSM’s Central region Multicultural ENG leader. In this role, she was responsible for aiding in the development and presentation of the Around the World with RSM national course, presented a short story in honor of Women’s International Day and had the responsibility for the recruitment, retention and advancement strategies of Multicultural members across the central region.
Summary of experience
As part of the global compliance reporting service of RSM US LLP, Shereen is responsible for leading several large and complex global compliance engagements by implementing centralized coordination frameworks aimed at assisting multinational corporations to achieve their compliance goals abroad.
Shereen leads teams focused on providing a comprehensive global compliance framework for companies with large and complex needs. The spectrum of services Shereen and her engagement teams manage includes group audit, financial accounting and outsourcing (FAO), statutory audits and tax compliance and can span more than 100 countries. Prior to joining RSM US in 2011, Shereen was in the audit and assurance practice at a Big Four firm.

RSM’s Multicultural supports individuals with multicultural backgrounds and experiences, educates others on different cultures represented within our ﬁrm and around the world, and explores opportunities to learn about colleagues’ experiences that might differ from their own. The ENG also actively supports the recruitment, development and retention of talented multicultural individuals.
