She has led communications on more than 19 transactions and increased positive mentions of the firm in the media. Sara also led the development of RSM’s thought leadership program and chairs the firm’s thought leadership steering committee, which oversees research done through the RSM US Middle Market Leadership Council (a panel of 700 middle market executives managed by Nielsen) and the RSM US Middle Market Business Index, a first-of-its-kind index developed in partnership with Moody’s Analytics.

Prior to joining RSM, Sara completed her Master of Science degree in integrated marketing communications at Northwestern University. She spent her graduate residency at Motorola developing internal and external campaigns to help position its technology organization as an innovation leader. Sara also spent five years with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high energy physics, where she led the editorial function for an international particle accelerator conference series, as well as various employee training and development initiatives and internal communications for the laboratory’s human resources team.
