"Fall" into The RSM Classic
A message from Zach Johnson – Team RSM Member, PGA TOUR Professional and resident of Sea Island, GA – home of The RSM Classic
It’s fall, and that means that it’s time, once again, for The RSM Classic, an annual PGA TOUR event held at my home of Sea Island, Georgia.
As a resident of Sea Island, The RSM Classic is one of my favorite events each year. Not only does the tournament take place almost literally in my own backyard, but the courses are some of my favorite on the Tour. And the tournament’s title sponsor RSM US LLP (RSM) shares my passion for giving back to the community. In fact, RSM’s 13,000 people its 86 offices across the U.S. and in Canada are so focused on making a positive difference in the world that they helped raise more than $4.6 million for children- and family-focused charitable organizations through the 2019 RSM Classic alone, bringing the grand total raised during the first 10 years of the tournament to more than $17.6 million total.
I’m proud each year to work with my friends at RSM to showcase my home of Sea Island through The RSM Classic, and to help those in need, while having a little bit of fun on the island. While this year’s tournament will be a bit different, given COVID-19 restrictions, I hope you’ll tune in to the Golf Channel Thurs., 19 through Sun., Nov. 22 to watch the tournament from the comfort of your own home and/or join us online throughout the week for some of the virtual opportunities we’ll be providing for fans. You can find details on how to do that here.
