The mission of the RSM US Foundation, a tax-exempt public charity, is to build tomorrow's middle market leaders by enhancing educational outcomes through programs that provide individuals with career paths to become entrepreneurs or middle market business leaders, and/or that serve youth in the areas of hunger, housing or health.

Creating spaces for belonging, support and courageous conversations

Since 2014, RSM has supported employee network groups (ENGs) that provide opportunities for volunteerism, professional development, mentorship and networking for everyone at our firm. Our 12 network groups bring together people with diverse experiences and similar interests.

Providing support for our local communities

The Power of Love combines RSM’s two flagship stewardship programs—Birdies Fore Love and Volunteer Day—under one banner. Through these programs, we provide millions of dollars of support and donate thousands of hours of time to charitable organizations in communities across Canada and the United States where our people live and work.

Pursue Your Passion

Helping employees achieve their dreams

We want our people to be successful at work and in their personal lives. Our Pursue Your Passion program funds the personal passions of nine employees each year. From writing books to starting charitable organizations to climbing mountains, any employee can apply to receive $10,000 and nine additional paid days off from work to pursue a dream that they might otherwise be unable to achieve.

Supporting middle market businesses in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion

The RSM Middle Market Collaborative for Understanding brings together middle market business leaders to discuss diversity, equity and inclusion opportunities and challenges facing their businesses. Through candid conversations and sharing of leading practices, member organizations enhance awareness of inclusion-related topics and issues, with the goal of enhancing inclusiveness within their organizations, their industries and the world at large.

Higher education

Advancing education through scholarships for college and university students

The RSM US Foundation supports higher education through direct grants to colleges and universities and scholarships for students pursuing degrees in accounting, business or technology.
