We're in on the action for diversity and inclusion

In July 2017, our Managing Partner and CEO Joe Adams joined a coalition of more than 850 CEOs of the world’s leading companies and organizations in signing CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion’s™ pledge to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. By signing this pledge, these leaders agreed to take action to foster environments where diverse experiences and perspectives are welcomed, and where people feel comfortable and empowered to discuss diversity and inclusion.
CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion marks its second Day of Understanding on Tues., Feb. 25, when RSM joins organizations across North America in encouraging our people to have open and meaningful conversations about diversity and inclusion, exploring any “blind spots” and/or unconscious biases, to foster an inclusive workplace. These conversations build on the discussions we had during the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion’s inaugural Day of Understanding in December of 2018 – as we engage even more of our people in the conversation. It’s an opportunity for us to build on the conversations that took place during our annual CDI summit in December by continuing to talk and listen so we can better understand one another and drive positive change in our organizations and communities.
Our people can participate in a number of ways – today and into the future, including:
- Exploring our 11 employee network groups and joining those they find of interest.
- Participating in relevant training.
- Taking the “I Act On” pledge. (Anyone can take the pledge, so you should feel free to do that, as well.)
- Share the pledge link with your colleagues, friends and clients, and encourage them to make this personal commitment, as well.
