Toby Ruda is a certified public accountant and senior director of compensation and benefits at RSM US LLP in the Washington National Tax group. She advises clients in the audit, advisory, tax and tax-exempt practices on a wide range of compensation and benefits-related questions.
Toby has over 25 years of experience helping clients with compensation and benefits questions. Her focus is on benefits, compensation, and payroll tax matters associated with employee benefits, equity compensation, and qualified retirement plans. She also provides tax technical support related to statutory and regulatory changes, merger and acquisition due diligence, and welfare benefit plan consulting.
At RSM, Toby is motivated by building strong relationships with her co-workers in order to provide best-in-class service to clients.
In her free time, Toby volunteers at a community garden where produce is donated to a local food bank. She enjoys the communal nature of working outdoors with others toward the greater good.
