Tiffany Tao is an RSM US LLP audit manager with experience serving both public and private middle market companies with both domestic and international operations, focusing primarily on clients within the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry.

In 2023, Tiffany was selected for RSM’s cutting-edge Industry Eminence Program, where she will serve as a senior analyst for the TMT industry. The program positions its analysts to understand, forecast and communicate business, economic and technology trends shaping the industries and sectors RSM serves, with a focus on the middle market.

Tiffany focuses on planning, coordinating and executing financial statement audits and internal control audits for Securities and Exchange Commission registrants and non-registrants. This work includes testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and technical accounting research and audit procedures for complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment, business combinations, and debt modifications.

In addition to her role in the Industry Eminence Program, Tiffany is also a graduate of the firm’s Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Academy, giving her the knowledge and experience to serve as a technical resource in ICFR for clients and peers. She joined RSM in 2017.
