He has negotiated numerous multistate voluntary disclosure agreements on behalf of clients. He has co-authored published ruling requests and advisory opinions on a broad range of topics, including bank taxation, taxation of incentive fees, sourcing of digital assets, sales of partnership interests, and the application of sales tax to software. He is a frequent author of tax articles on a broad range of state tax matters. He also frequently provides training and updates to internal and external clients.

Robert’s family is from the Carpathian Mountains region of Ukraine and immigrated to the United States when he was young, but he still has a working understanding of the language, as well as Yiddish (old German) and several other languages.
