As a key architect of RSM’s growth strategy, Robert spearheaded the firm’s acquisition of 24 firms representing $350 million in revenue. He was integral in establishing the firm’s office of the managing partner and consolidating local offices into economic units with full-service capabilities. Robert was also instrumental in organizing RSM’s services to create the firm’s private equity practice. Moreover, he integrated all of the firm’s consulting services following its acquisition of American Express Tax and Business Services, making RSM the fifth-largest accounting firm in the Chicagoland market.
Robert worked with the Harvard Business School to help steer the firm’s strategic direction, including with the original partnership with H&R Block. Drawing on his extensive experience, Robert has provided financial and operational consulting services to various closely held midsize companies, leveraging his skills in communication to assess challenges and determine paths to success.
In addition to being an industry thought leader, Robert is an avid fisherman.
