A native of France, Remi is recognized for his prowess in bridging cultural differences in international business settings. He has deep experience in assisting foreign investors with creative solutions to successfully complete cross-border merger and acquisition projects and execute on integration plans.
He is a regular speaker at events on U.S. market issues (French and U.S.), is a frequent panelist at events on foreign direct investments in the United States and has authored numerous articles for various industry publications. Before joining RSM in 2012, Remi was an audit partner with Mazars US. Prior to that he provided audit and advisory services in New York at Constantin Associates LLP and PwC. He started his career at Salustro Reydel (now KPMG) in Paris.
He has significant experience and recognized expertise in bridging cultural differences, International Financial Reporting Standards, U.S. and French generally accepted accounting principles, and mergers and acquisitions.
A collaborator and relationship builder, Remi is invested in his clients and brings the best of RSM together to find a tailored solution that works for each client. He listens to what clients are saying—and what they are not saying—to determine how the firm can best help them. He appreciates the ability to have fun while doing his job and bring a smile to his client’s face when an engagement is particularly successful.
As a foreign-born person living in New York, Remi is sensitive to understanding cultures that are different from his own. He is an active member of the firm’s Multicultural employee network group. He enjoys nurturing and educating talent to help guide the next generation of RSM leaders. He actively participates in the firm’s annual Volunteer Day to help support a New York City public school with hands-on assistance in upgrading its facility.
Remi joined RSM in November of 2012 in New York City, just days after Superstorm Sandy hit, spending a memorable first few weeks on the job without power.
