Experience

Michele is a practice leader within the business applications service line, and also the enterprise nonprofit and education industry leader.  She works closely with a wide variety of nonprofit and private sector organizations to help them optimize their use of technology, leveraging her deep experience with business applications to guide clients through digital transformation.

Michele has many years of experience working with business applications (enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management systems), including Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite and Sage Intacct, across a variety of industries. She has been actively involved in dozens of technology implementations for nonprofits, including social services, associations, foundations, behavioral health, senior living, and city and county government. Her broad perspective provides value in determining the best approach for clients, and in connecting them with the right RSM professionals to ensure client success.

In her 20+ years at RSM, Michele has held a variety of leadership roles focused on growth, working with both new and existing clients across a variety of solutions and service lines. She started her career in corporate banking for middle market companies prior to earning a master's degree in educational administration, after which she transitioned to grant management roles at several educational institutions.  This industry expertise provided a strong foundation for a career in technology implementations focused on financial management and operations.

Within the firm, Michele is motivated to help grow the next generation of leaders through recruiting, training and mentorship. She is actively involved in STAR, the firm’s employee network group that champions women at the firm, and as the chair of the Consulting Women's Advisory Council, which provides leadership training and mentoring.  Michele is active in her community, serving on the boards of several nonprofits and supporting the community engagement activities of RSM.
