Since joining RSM, I’ve been impacted most by our culture. I’m so grateful to work for a firm that sees the value each person brings to a team.
I am always amazed by the strength of character of our people, and how they demonstrate RSM’s values each day with our clients and each other.
Joshua is a senior manager in RSM US LLP’s Washington National Tax practice. He primarily assists ultrahigh net worth individuals with estate and gift transfer planning, as well as fiduciary income tax matters.
Joshua started his career at a law firm in the Midwest, where he concentrated on both planning for ultrahigh net worth individuals and general tax matters. After he earned his Master of Law, Joshua worked for two accounting firms in New York City, where he focused on gift and estate planning for ultrahigh net worth individuals.
During his career, Joshua has assisted clients by developing estate and gift plans that not only consider the complexities of the tax laws but also family dynamics and wishes. He believes his success in this area can be attributed to working closely with his clients to understand their desires and concerns in passing their wealth to future generations.
Outside of work, Joshua is married with a small child. Assuming this leaves him any free time, he enjoys cooking outdoors, hiking and being very bad at both golf and platform tennis. Originally from Austin, Texas, he is still trying to perfect his smoked brisket and can often be found in his backyard ruminating over minor variances in his smoker’s temperature.
