Lead of RSM’s national M&A practice, Joe is focused on serving private equity and strategic buyers throughout the business life cycle. His focus is on preserving, creating and realizing optimized value for client business investments.
Focused on leading significantly large complex acquisitions throughout the deal life cycle and drawing on his cross-industry and transactions experience, he easily adapts to a client’s specific requirements. He supports the management team navigating the complexities unique to the client and investment thesis. He has experience in all aspects of deal strategy and visioning, carve-out planning, synergy assessment, integration and separation management office execution, and business optimization.
Joe has successfully led integrations, separations, joint ventures and IPO readiness from relatively small local add-on transactions through global deals valued up to $23 billion. He recently completed the $1 billion carve out of the ground service operations from a $50 billion airline company for a stand alone in a joint venture. He is currently finishing up a transformation for a global payment processor that has recently completed the SPAC IPO process and emerged from private equity ownership to a publicly listed company. Joe has served clients across technology, health care and life sciences, chemical and natural resources, steel, industrial manufacturing, technology, media, telecom, and commercial real estate.
