Chris has spent nearly her entire career working in the senior living sector. She has vast experience with cost report preparation, reimbursement consulting and financial statement audits, reviews and compilations. She assists in the preparation of budgets, tax returns, cost reporting and other operational analyses for health care entities. During her tenure, she has built a trusted network of professionals within RSM and is skilled at tapping into the depth of the firm’s vast resources to help clients succeed.
Chris diligently stays abreast of industry trends and has written articles for various health care publications for the benefit of her clients. She is a frequent speaker at health care conferences and professional education seminars. She has recently provided updated insight regarding use of CARES Act funds to ensure that clients are meeting compliance requirements in the wake of COVID-19 health care policies.
Chris started as an intern with a predecessor firm of RSM when she was in college. She has seen the company through many mergers, acquisitions and re-brandings over the years and is proud of what RSM has become in that time. Chris strives to do the best she can for the firm, her clients and her RSM teammates. Her goal is to help her clients become more agile and successful by truly supporting their missions. She is a mentor to RSM staff and team members to help them bring their best selves to their roles at the firm.
As one of the firm’s longest-serving female leaders, Chris has been involved in the firm’s STAR employee network designed to help advance female leaders in their careers since its inception. She was a member of the original task force to design the group’s vision and values.
Chris and her husband have rescue dogs and are involved with PAWS Chicago to help build no-kill communities and end the overpopulation of homeless animals.
