Brandon has more than 28 years of experience in public accounting and first joined RSM in 1996. He worked for RSM from 1996-2000 and then rejoined RSM in 2004 following a four-year stint at a Big Four firm, where he participated in audits of global Fortune 100 companies. As an assurance partner with the firm for the past 18 years, Brandon has held many leadership roles at RSM, including Southeast region assurance leader and national assurance operations leader. Additionally, he graduated in the first cohort of RSM’s Enterprise Leadership Academy.
Brandon served as a member of the firm’s board of directors starting in December 2021, serving as chair from December 2023 until appointed enterprise assurance leader. As chair, Brandon led the board in guiding and overseeing the effective execution of the firm’s strategy and upholding the tradition of quality, integrity and client service excellence. As a board member, he served on several committees focused on finance/mergers and acquisitions, risk oversight, governance, strategy and managing partner matters.
He has deep knowledge of risk and financial operations from his experience working with RSM’s National Office of Risk Management and finance teams and his role as assurance operations leader. Brandon is passionate about preserving, protecting and building the culture at RSM. He believes RSM’s strong culture is key to the firm’s success and a great asset in developing, attracting and retaining the right people.
Brandon is a past board member of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, which focuses on economic development in Charlotte and surrounding areas. He has also served the United Way of Central Carolinas on numerous board committees.
Born and raised in an agricultural community in rural Kentucky, Brandon is a proud first-generation college graduate. His upbringing instilled a strong work ethic and an appreciation for teamwork and stewardship.
